The Worst Kind of Foods in the World!

By Vanessa Summer

The world is stuffed with food that tastes good and is still very bad for you. Sure we can identify some of these things-most fast food, for example, while super tasty to eat, provoke havoc on your internal system and add way too many calories to your fat stores. But what about those food items that look like they should be totally fine to eat? What about the food you purchase for your kids? In this article we will be checking out a number of the absolute worst foods that you could ever feed to yourself or other people in your family.

One of the worst type of things on earth, contrary to popular belief is a dish of macaroni and cheese. The make-on-your-own variety that you can buy, like Annie's or Kraft, is relatively okay but the kind you order in a restaurant is not. To work with one critical example: the macaroni and cheese meal for kids from the California Pizza Kitchen is incredibly unhealthy. This one particular plate contains over a thousand calories, over sixteen hundred milligrams of sodium and nearly forty grams of saturated fat! This seriously isn't even remotely healthful.

How often have you ordered some of those frozen pot pies from your grocery store? These seem like mostly wholesome last minute meals but they are really full of calories that you don't need. The pot pies by Stouffer's, for example, usually contain more than eleven hundred calories, more than sixty grams of fat and almost eighteen hundred milligrams of sodium. You could wind up eating all of your recommended caloric intake if you are on a mission to lose weight--just by eating one of these things!

You most likely imagine that a vegetarian sandwich must be among the healthiest things you can order from a fast food place, right? The real truth is that these types of sandwiches usually are dressed with dressings and other condiments which contribute to making them just as unhealthy as a meat-based sandwich. When you buy a vegetarian sandwich from Blimpies (as an example), you're purchasing nearly twelve hundred calories, sixty grams of fat and more than thirty five hundred milligrams of sodium. How on the globe might that ever be healthy for you?

Surely a salad, of all things, ought to be healthy. Most of us suppose that is accurate anyway. If we need something that is healthy and speedy, most of the time we choose a salad to fill us up with food that is healthy for us. It may well surprise you then to learn that some salads are not all that healthy. TGI Fridays's Santa Fe chopped salad, to work with one example, includes practically eighteen hundred calories. This is almost definitely due to the fact that this specific salad is the size of a big dinner plate, but think about it seriously: if you're on a diet do you want almost all of your daily calorie allotment to come from a single salad?

The simple fact is that most of the meals that we purchase while we are on the go or from restaurants is just not as good for us as the food that we cook and prepare for ourselves. We realize that you may not be in love with the notion of preparing food for yourself but the truth is that, especially when you're trying to lose weight and improve your health, this is the best thing that you can do for yourself.
